Wellspring of the Gospel

Year C: 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

First Reading: Wisdom 9: 13-18

The Reading from Wisdom deepens our thinking about working things out - what is real - and unreal. The writer points out that it is hard enough to work out what is happening on earth let alone what is of God.

And yet, we can catch glimpses of the eternal because God sent Wisdom and the Holy Spirit to help us. In this way, we are not limited by what our bodies can manage to see and hear - but are able to see the way that God has laid before us.

What does it mean for me?
