autumn The Wellspring is set aside as a place of silence and stillness and is a wonderful place to spend time in contemplation. October 1999 was the first time we had visited Taizé in the autumn - and we wondered how the "Source" would feel once the springtime green had given way to the colours of autumn.... .... we were not disappointed. Even though there had been a storm during the night before, we were graced with beautiful day to revisit this "thin" place - a place where heaven and earth are separated by the thinnest of tissue paper.
